A full day desert safari is for anyone who wants the dunes without the rush.
Where the half day is a quick taste, the full day gives you six to eight
hours out in the sand, with extended dune bashing, a camel ride, and a proper
lunch break in the desert. The slower pace means more time between activities
to walk, take photos, and actually feel the quiet of the desert rather than
moving from one stop to the next.
A local guide drives you out of Doha in a Land Cruiser, times the day to keep
you ahead of the crowds, and shapes the route around what you want, whether
that is more dune bashing, more downtime, or the best light for photos.
Pickup is included from your hotel across Doha or from Hamad International
for layover guests.
If you have less time, the half day covers the essentials, and if you want the
desert at night, the overnight camp adds dinner and a night under the stars.
Your guide collects you from anywhere in Doha, or from Hamad International if you are on a layover, and heads for the dunes.
A longer dune bashing session than the half day, with more time across the sand and stops for photos along the way.
A camel ride followed by a relaxed lunch out in the desert, the part of the day that makes the full day feel like a proper trip rather than a quick outing.
More time in the sand as the day cools, then the drive back to Doha.
